The Syndicate is an online + pop up bookstore offering a wide variety of romance novels catering to different tastes and preferences. We do not offer children’s books, personal development, nonfiction, how to’s, educational, or others alike.

We do! Pickup is available at our shop. Please note that there is a 2–3 week processing period as items are ordered from our warehouse. Orders are processed every Friday and shipped directly to The Syndicate. Once your order arrives, you will be notified via email or SMS to arrange pickup. This service is free.

With the launch of our physical shop, we are currently only shipping to Guam. Other islands and U.S. mainland is currently on hold.

Shipping is available at a cost and is processed the same day your order is placed, then shipped directly to your post. Pickup is free, but all pickup orders are processed on Fridays by 5 PM. Orders placed after 5 PM will be processed the following Friday. The warehouse we work with ships 4 business days after an order takes place. If you choose pickup, you may be eligible for cancellations and refunds during the processing period. If you choose shipping, cancellations and refunds are not available, as we cannot halt the processing once the order has been sent directly to you.

We currently do not offer returns or exchanges on shipped orders. Cancellations and refunds are only accepted before an order has been shipped. Once your package is in transit, The Syndicate is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

For pickup orders, cancellations are allowed; however, a 10% restocking fee will apply.
For in-store purchases, refunds are available within 48 hours and are also subject to a 10% restocking fee.

The expensive nature is typically a result of your items being shipped from various locations and sometimes will be delivered in separate orders.

Due to the high costs and additional challenges of shipping products to Guam, all items are subject to a $1-1.01 surcharge above the standard suggested retail price (SRP). This small adjustment helps us continue bringing in the books and bookish items you love while keeping our store running strong. We truly appreciate your support and understanding!

Our main inventory comprises paperbacks. Any hardbacks that may be offered will be notated.
